In 2023, PZEM Energy Company (PZEM) joined the EPH group. PZEM is part of EP NL, a Dutch energy company focusing on energy trading, power and gas supply and power plant operations. We’re looking for a Head of Origination to join our business and the extremely dynamic market we operate in, and to embark on a journey with us towards a better tomorrow.

What are your key Tasks?

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Originators and Structures.

• In collaboration with the Asset Management team, Identify, research and present potential targets to expand and optimize PZEMs generation portfolio.
• Executing PZEMs commercial strategy by helping monetize PZEMs flexible generation portfolio.
• Actively pursue optimization of energy-strategies for large industrial customers
• Achieve ambitious targets
• Expand PZEMs Wind and Solar PPA portfolio.
• Together with the Structuring team, design and market innovative structured products.

What do we expect from you?

Qualifications:

• University or equivalent degree (or equivalent professional experience) in a commercial, economic or technical discipline. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in Origination or commercial departments of Energy Companies, Utilities or similar organizations.
• Results oriented and motivated
• Strong knowledge of the developments in the Energy Markets including but not limited to new generation technologies, hydrogen, wind, solar and energy storage.
• Strong and motivating leader for team of professionals
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
